Wine Festival
Join us on 30th May for an extraordinary tasting of delicious English wines, gins and cheeses.
The event will run from 6pm to 9.30pm and will see a selection of English wines for you to tase and enjoy, as well as award-winning gins and rums from two local gin producers and a range of locally produced foods including Bath Soft Cheese.
This event it part of the Railway’s Bounce Back Appeal to restore funds following the major fraud of approx. £50k committed against the Railway and its staff last year.

Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting for Avon Valley Railway Heritage Trust will be held on Friday 27th September at 7pm (7.30 start) at Longwell Green Community Centre
Members Day
Join us for a special day at Avon Valley Railway. Our Member’s Day will feature two trains running - passenger and freight with brakevan rides. There will also be the opportunity to go behind the scenes on a tour of the yard at Bitton.

Coach Trip - Bluebell Railway
Our next trip is to The Bluebell Railway.

Member’s Day
Join us for a special day at Avon Valley Railway. Our Member’s Day will feature special trains, behind the scene’s tours, ‘driver for a fiver’ experiences on our Fry’s Sentinel engine and so much more. All ended with a Volunteers & Members BBQ in the evening!

Coach Trip - Mid Hants
Join us for a Coach Trip to the Mid Hants Railway!
The coach will leave from Bitton Station at approx 0800 so we arrive at Alresford in time for the first departure of the day! Spend the day riding the trains and exploring the line before we head home. The return coach will leave after the last arrival of the day and we expect to arrive back at Bitton approx 2000.
Coach Tickets for Members are priced at: £20.00 and are available online or by calling the office on 0117 932 5538.
Train Tickets for the Mid Hants Railway can be purchased online or on the day from the booking office. Those with the HRA Privilege Pass receive can travel at a reduced fare.
